“FOXY IS FOXY – TK recording group Foxy is taking the path of many performers who are in the know. The group’s new album cover is being photographed by Francesco Scavullo, with make-up done by Way Bandy, a duo that seem to be bridging the gap between the fashion and music industry by bringing a very innovative approach to LP covers in keeping with the FOXY album cover, the group describes its total concept and performance to be a very sexy and physical experience. Presently rehearsing for their first domestic tour, the group members said, “We want to play a good clean show of good music, minus fire bombs and smoke bombs, that can frequenty take away from the show rather than add to it. The members of the group are all from Cuba except percussionist Richie Puente, who grew up in New York, the son of popular salsa performer, Tito Puente.”
