Latimore’s music has gone around the world millions of times over, affecting the musical consciousness of many countries and their societies, shifting culture, and generating waves of positivity all over humanity.
And now he has been officially recognized for it by the Blues Foundation with a prestigious lifetime achievement award into the Blues Hall Of Fame.
Last night, May 10th, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee, Latimore appeared alongside fellow inductees Mavis Staples, Magic Slim, Willie Johnson, Henry Gray, and Johnny Copeland.
All of the awards went to great heroes in the world of music.
All the way to the end of his 93 years on Earth, Henry Stone was honored to work with Latimore, and so proud of what they accomplished.
Their works will continue to resonate throughout history for centuries to come.
From 1946 to 2014, Henry Stone ruled the Florida music industry with an iron fist, a brick of cash, and a warehouse full of vinyl. HSM is the last of over one hundred record labels he personally founded. The HSM record label includes works from every decade in his sixty-five year career right up until today. Licensing available for film, samples, advertising, movies, video games, and more. Family owned and operated.
