“Disco Rick used to hang out with me. I had a little company when I first left Morris Levy and Sunnyview Records and started my HOT Productions company. He brought Gucci Crew II and after “Sally That Girl” and the album came out, he had a big fight with a couple of the guys and said “Fuck you!” and he split. But I remained very friendly with him cause he was a nice guy. He had a couple good records on the Joey Boy label. He’s the one who brought the Gucci Crew to me.”
